1) Organize Your Move

- Packing and labeling your boxes well in advance of the move date

4) Connect with Others
In the wake of the pandemic, a lot of people are feeling lonelier and more secluded than ever before. To battle such negative feelings, take the initiative to get together with others both in person as well as virtually. Schedule Zoom gatherings with your friends and loved ones, in the event they are too far away to visit. Send them regular text messages to check on them and give them a call when you have a little extra time. Additionally, it may be helpful to join a volunteer organization in your new community or enroll in classes and events organized by locally. You can also join local social media groups. All the listed activities can help you to feel united with others and propel you through the feelings of being alone.
5) Develop a Workable Routine, and Stick to It
Human beings are creatures of habit. We tend to be content and more secure if our lives have framework and follow an anticipated pattern. With that in mind, try to develop a workable, realistic schedule for yourself as soon as possible — and then just do it! It's amazing how an easy activity like waking up at the same time every morning will help you to get over the blues.
